The Air Support Group is responsibile for the maintenance and staffing of LSPD Air Units, whether that be helicopters or planes. It is lead by a Police Sergeant II role, the Helicopter Supervisor. Other roles include the Helicopter Observer and Pilot.

The Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team are responsible for responding to and neutralising heavily armed threats, barricaded suspects, hostage situations, and any other large scale armed threat to the citizens of Los Santos. Like all LSPD Officers they are trained to de-escalate situations whenever possible.
