Led by a Training Coordinator and a team of Training Instructors, the Police Training and Education Group are responsible for the recruitment and training of new and existing officers, as well as certification and retraining. The Communications Group are responsible for handling all Police Emergency Operations Centre and dispatch operations, as well as ensuring the correct storage and use of data, records and evidence across the department. If you're interested in joining the joint EOC as a 911 Call Handler, you can learn more about the role and apply to the Los Santos Ambulance Service here.
The Fleet Group is managed by a Police Officer III role, the Fleet Coordinator. Their responsibilities include ensuring the motor pool vehicles are all repaired, serviced and refuelled, as well as arranging repairs for patrol vehicles damaged in the field. Finally, the Fleet Coordinator requests new patrol vehicles for the motor pool as needed. As more divisions are opened and staffed, each division will have a Fleet Coordinator assigned to it. Instead of reporting to an Officer In Charge of the Group, the Fleet Coordinator reports directly to the Watch Commander of their Division.
